Tarapoto Cabin
This small cabin was built by Luis, also known as Rambo, one of the leaders of the indigenous community of Tarapoto and an expert caiman hunter. He often joins tourists for the caiman safari at night and his wife, Soraina, kindly cooks for travelers and opens her home. The cabin has no electricity or running water, but you are welcome to take a refreshing dip in Lake Tarapoto, just a couple meters from the cabin.
